Antti Lötjönen

DOUBLE BASS

Antti Lötjönen is perhaps the most in demand double bassist in Finland. He is known for his capability of dominating a variety of different music styles and for his elegant work in Timo Lassy Band, Sun Trio, The Five Corners Quintet, Teddy's West Coasters, Ilmiliekki Quartet and Verneri Pohjola Quartet and in his own band Antti Lötjönen Quartet East.

During his prominent career he has performed in over thirty countries. Antti has played in the winning band in "Young Nordic Jazz Comets" competition twice. Other credits include the 2003 Teosto Prize with Ilmiliekki Quartet and Artist of the Year in Pori Jazz Festival in 2015.
